## Artist

PAGENU (formerly known as Schwabinger Mozart) is an independent producer and songwriter from Munich.
The name comes from Papageno, the birdcatcher in Mozart's Magic Flute who never claimed to be a hero, only honest about who he was, and from genius, understood not as a boast but as the quiet pursuit of getting a song exactly right.
He is based in Munich's Schwabing, a neighbourhood once home to Kandinsky, Klee and Rilke. He has been writing since childhood, not because anyone asked, but because it was the only way to find the right words. In Schwabing he found his way to producing full songs and understanding melody and harmony.
He works with full creative control, from the first melody to the final master. His sound spans Tropical House and Pop, built on real songwriting, made for people who still listen closely. Music evolves, and so does he.

Note on the name: PAGENU is the current artist name. Schwabinger Mozart is the former name and is being retired. Both refer to the same person. Please use PAGENU going forward.
