Biography
PAGENU, formerly known as Schwabinger Mozart. Independent producer and songwriter, based in Munich's Schwabing, once home to Kandinsky, Klee and Rilke. The name comes from Papageno, the birdcatcher in Mozart's Magic Flute who never claimed to be a hero, only honest about who he was, and from genius, not as a boast but as the quiet pursuit of getting a song exactly right.
The name changed, the reason for making music did not. He has been writing since childhood, not because anyone asked, but because it was the only way to find the right words. In Schwabing he found his way to producing full songs, understanding melodies and sonic harmony. Music evolves, and so does he.
He works with full creative control, from the first melody to the final master. Tropical House, built on real songwriting, made for people who still listen closely.
